Levelpath
Security
At Levelpath we are committed to keeping our customers’ data secure and private. Our customers entrust us with sensitive information, and we take that role seriously.
Governance
Levelpath establishes policies and controls, monitors compliance with those controls, and proves our security and compliance to third-party auditors.
Our policies are based on the following foundational principles:
-
Access should be limited to only those with a legitimate business need and granted based on the principle of least privilege.
-
Security controls should be implemented and layered according to the defense-in-depth principle.
-
Security controls are applied consistently across all areas of the enterprise.
-
The implementation of controls is iterative, continuously maturing across the dimensions of improved effectiveness, increased auditability, and decreased friction.
Monitoring
We leverage a leading automated security and compliance platform to stay compliant by continuously monitoring our employees, systems, and tools to improve security posture.
Data Protection
Data at rest is encrypted with an industry-standard AES-256 encryption algorithm.
Data in transit uses industry-standard TLS 1.2 cryptographic protocol that provides end-to-end security of data sent between the client and our application
Enterprise Security
Vendor Security
Levelpath uses a risk-based approach to vendor security. Factors that influence the inherent risk rating of a vendor include:
-
Access to customer and corporate data
-
Integration with production environments
-
Potential damage resulting from a data breach
Once the inherent risk rating has been determined, the vendor’s security is evaluated to determine a residual risk rating and an approval decision for the vendor.
Endpoint protection
All corporate devices are centrally managed and are equipped with mobile device management software and anti-malware protection. Endpoint security alerts are monitored with 24/7/365 coverage. We use MDM software to enforce secure configuration of endpoints, such as disk encryption, screen lock configuration, and software updates.
Security education
Levelpath provides comprehensive security training to all employees upon onboarding and annually.
Access management
Levelpath employees are granted access to applications based on their role and de-provisioned upon the termination of employment. Further access must be approved according to the policies set for each application.
Our Promise to Data Privacy
Levelpath designs and builds products from the ground up with privacy and security in mind. If you would like information about how Levelpath processes personal data, you can see our privacy policy located here.
